Your wedding can be whatever you want it to be!

Yes you heard me right.
How does it work?
I will work with you to create a ceremony that honours and includes all of the precious details that make you the couple and family that you are. You can include as much or as little detail as you like, including things like handfasting, candle lighting, special songs or readings and much much more.
Is my wedding 'legal'?
I am a registered solemniser with Entheos Ireland, so yes your wedding ceremony with me is a legal one. In order to do this, you must give 3 months notice to the HSE of your intent to marry, including the date, names of your two witnesses and the venue. The only requirement for the venue is that it must be accessible to the public. You can find more information on registering your intent to marry here.
Is there anything my ceremony has to include?
The only legal requirement for a legal wedding ceremony is that you include the following two things:
-
That you do not know of any impediment to the marriage
-
That you accept each other as husband/wife/spouse

There is no such thing as a “standard” couple or family, which is why no two weddings should be the same. All couples and families are different, and people marry for different reasons, with different intentions and expectations, and at different stages of their lives. I embrace and welcome all of these diversities, and was so grateful to have the option of this type of ceremony when my wife and I got married.
Other than that, your wedding ceremony can include whatever you like! Get in touch with me now, to secure your date or book a free call to find out more.
